20. Andrew Ference
Ference’s path to the stars was pretty much difficult, as he kicked off his hockey career at Portland Winterhawks. This club played in WHL (Western Hockey League) back then.
After two difficult years, he was finally elected for the NHL by Pittsburgh Penguins back in 1997. Persistence is Ference’s trademark – the guy sent a letter to every single hockey manager, claiming that he’s able to play the greatest hockey league in the world, asking for the opportunity.

19. Jared Boll
Jared Boll holds a high spot on our list of the hottest hockey players in the NHL, but his face was bruised so many times, as he took part in many fights until rule change a few years ago.
The former member of the Kansas City Chiefs was an enforcer who was spending time on the ice mostly because of fights and crowd entertainment. Unfortunately, he had to retire in 2017/18 as a member of the San Diego Gulls, AHL team. Thanks to Brendan Shanahan, the era of enforcers has come to an end.
18. Jonathan Toews
Jonathan Toews is one of the guys with the greatest international trophies on our list of the hottest hockey players in the NHL. He is a three-time Stanley Cup winner, and the owner of two Olympic, one World Championship, and one World Cup gold medal with the national team of Canada.
Toews is a very fast skater with great anticipation skills and tremendous goal-scoring instinct. He’s very focused on his career, but fans want him so badly. He plays for Chicago Blackhawks since the beginning of his NHL run.

17. Brendan Smith
Brendan Smith showed his greatest skills as a member of the New York Rangers. Born in 1989, Brendan was drafted by Detroit Red Wings in 2007. From time to time, he was moving to AHL.
Smith is definitively an excellent left-wing – he’s fast, agile, and his anticipation skills are top-notch, it’s so hard to trick him. Despite he’s a family man, a father of two, female fans seek Brendan’s attention day and night.

16. John Tavares
John Tavares was selected in the 2009 NHL Entry Draft as the first overall by New York Islanders. It speaks about the top-notch quality of the Canadian center. After few successful seasons, John switched to Toronto Maple Leafs, where he successfully plays today. His skating speed was an issue, but Tavares worked hard and now he’s one of the faster NHL skaters.
He is the owner of many medals with the Canadian national team – Olympic gold, World Cup, and World Junior Championships.

15. Jonathan Bernier
Our list of the hottest hockey players in the NHL is stacked with Canadians. The next name is Jonathan Bernier, a Quebec-born goaltender who currently plays for Detroit Red Wings. He won Stanley Cup back in 2012 with Los Angeles Kings.

Eberle is not a fan of changes. He was a member of 3 NHL teams in his career – Edmonton Oilers, New York Islanders, and finally Seattle Krakens. He met his girlfriend in high school, and they’re together for more than ten years, plus they recently got a kid. But Jordan will always be on the list of the most wishful hockey males among fans, they claim he’s pretty handsome.

13. Mike Fischer
Mike Fischer used to be one of the players with the greatest heart in the line-ups of Ottawa Senators and Nashville Predators. This guy was always battling until the last dying breath.
His career lasted for 20 years, and his popularity among fans was out of this world. Many fans were waiting for Fischer’s signatures after the matches. Fischer won two silver medals with the national team of Canada in the World Championships. He’s a devoted Christian, married to the American singer Carrie Underwood. His popularity is… well, more than 500k followers, it’s easy to conclude.

12. PK Subban
PK Subban is the only Afro-American on our list of the hottest hockey players in the NHL. This outstanding defender won Olympic gold with the national team of Canada. He changed only three teams in the top-ranked hockey league of the world – Montreal Canadiens, Nashville Predators, and New Jersey Devils.
Subban is known for his exciting and hard-hitting playing style, which led him into many fights until the rule change. He’s also a massive philanthropist who donated a lot of money to charity and a huge fashion lover. PK is rich, popular, and many fans dream of him.

11. Patrick Sharp
Patrick Sharp is the nicest-looking Manitoba-born hockey player on our list. Sharp made his first steps in the line-up of Thunder Bay Flyers then he progressed and reached the NHL status in season 2002/03 as a member of Philadelphia Flyers. He retired in 2018, but he’ll always be remembered as a legend of the Chicago Blackhawks.
Sharp won two medals in the international competitions with Canada – Olympic gold in Sochi and silver medal in the World Championships. Today, Patrick works as a studio analyst for NBC Sports Chicago, and he’s a father of two. Yet, many female fans would like to spend one night with him.
10. Derrick Brassard
Brassard initially played in Gatineau L’Intrepide, a hockey team from Quebec, Canada, where he was a captain of the youth team. Later he was elected by the Drummondville Voltigeurs, a member of the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League (QMJHL) draft in 2003.

Brian kicked off his NHL run in the lineup of Los Angeles Kings, but he switched many teams – New York Rangers, Tampa Bay Lightnings, Toronto Maple Leafs, Nashville Predators… This gentle giant (6 ft 7 inches tall) is a dream of many female NHL fans and followers.

Chris Higgins is a great goal scorer. The beginning of his career brought three back-to-back 20+ goal seasons, and he was also a member of the USA national team at the World Championship in 2009.

The Swedish hockey player holds spot number 1 on our list of the hottest hockey players in the NHL. Lundquist started his career as a goaltender of Vastra Frolunda in Sweden, but upon arrival in the USA, he quickly became the legend of the New York Rangers’ goal.
